The national park of Valia Calda (warm valley) is located in a particularly inaccessible area of the Pindos mountain range. The park was founded in 1966 and includes the Valia Calda and Arkoudorema valleys as well as the Avgo 2177m. and Flega 2157m. Peaks. It is characterized by the variety of morphological contrasts and the rich flora and fauna. Starting from the area of Metsovo and after crossing the beech forest we reach the location of "Salatoura Milia", where from there we descend to reach the heart of Valia Calda! There we will visit the bear stream and cool off in its waters! The beautiful black pine forest exudes a peace and tranquility that makes you want to stay there forever in its arms! From the valley, we will go uphill again leaving the black pine forest and then we will move downhill to the village of Vovousa. There, after resting and eating something next to the Aoos river, our vehicle will take us back to Metsovo on a beautiful route.
